[Assam] Why do some people have all the luck ?

This is indeed interesting, and there may actually be some truth here. Often
some behaviors (even though not consiously done) may actually bring luck (
or bad luck).

It could also be that unlucky people are less trusting, and may actually
suspect the ad (as a scam).
I remember some 10 years or so ago, HBO was concerned about cable theft (in
Florida). So, they had placed an ad on their network. The ad basically asked
people to call in and receive a gift, a tee shirt etc . Many called and went
personally to collect their gifts - only to be arrested.
HBO had made sure that genuine subscribers would not be able to view the ad
- only those who stole it.
