[Assam] Channelizing Public Anger into a Mass Global Movement Against Terror

Happy Peaceful and Safe New Year 2009 to all of you. Being in terror struck
Mumbai and being from terror struck Assam we cannot ignore the parameters of
'peaceful' and 'safe' as far as 2009 is concerned. Hope 2009 becomes terror
free and I think we can do a lot in this regard.

We have seen tremendous public anger in Guwahati after the 30/10 blasts
though media has not highlighted this. What media has achieved was to carry
on the public resurgence in Mumbai into global focus. This new public
awareness is spreading far and wide in India. We can create a discussion
forum on this involving people of Assam as much as possible and all the NGOs
worldwide. We must take this opportunity to channelize public anger and
create an awareness on prevention aspects of terror attacks and an allout
attempt to fight terror globally. A pressure group can also be created to
communicate with respective governments.

And why not!
