Hi Das Da,

At first let me wish you a HAPPY MAAGH BIHU.

Thanks a lot for making your point clearer in this mail. Really i was
surprised to see your earlier mail. You took it so personally while my mail
contained nothing to do with your personal life. I was only trying to show
that your approach of analysis was with drawbacks. And your conclusions were
not in sync with your analysis.

With due respect to your professional excellence in your Medic profession;
and also agreeing fully to your saying that Medics know how to analyze
things; I'd like to point out to the fact that -- there was no any proper
'CONTROL' sample in your analysis. It was not clear from your mail which
CONTROL sample you used to compare against IBM.

Engineering profession too demands rigorous analysis based on logical
reasoning and scientific designing of studies. From my knowledge on
"Designing and Analyzing Experiments" which was my elective in my M.Tech.
days; I'd like to draw your attention to the fact that choosing of proper
CONTROL sample is so important before concluding anything.

And your analysis contains so many facts against the PG owners; while your
conclusions mainly was against IBM. As Krishnendu Da pointed out -- IBM has
no control over PG owners. In other words, somewhere your facts and
conclusions seem to be not linked to each other.

Das Da, last but not the least; I'd like to make clear again my stand --

   - I had neither big money; nor I am ignoring your facts about
   psychological disasters on IT people.
   - I respect and no way doubt your professional capabilities. I did
   only criticize your approach of the analysis -- not the facts against PG
   owners or Medical facts.
   - I opposed your drawing conclusions against a particular company --
   IBM. Because the conditions were same for all IT companies.
   - I told about your HAL dealings; only to bring out the point that you
   might be missing proper CONTROL samples due to your dealing with a public
   corporation. HAL can't be CONTROL sample for study on IBM - a private IT
   company.
   - As Umesh Da said -- "No pain, No Gain". While I doubt truthfullness
   behind claims like -- 'not allowing to use personal emails, not giving
   Saturdays as holidays' etc in IBM.

Again I'd like to request you not to read my mail as something against your
personal life. I would never think of attacking anyone on personal front in
such forum.
