Hope I did started the tribute when Shantikam Hazarika da did posted first news.I know this man when he was a young newly joined IAS officer at Darrang dist under probation as ADC in 1974.His wonderful control capacity and developement of sports and games in the entire Darrang dist is unforgottable. As small student we used to go and play around and lot of tournaments did took place. It was a good begining and was going on till ULFA-AASU agitation began. And one fine day al stopped.Assam stopped producing IAS/IPS officers, Goalpara Sainik School stopped showing god result to get seats in NDA/IMA/RIMA etc....
Few existing IAS/IPS kharkhowa lived elsewhere.... We need blame only the ACS cadres monopoly to ruin Assam. It is now their lah-Bilaxar thai.if there are agitations- they are more happy.None DC/SP are original National cadre.Rest all states got their own people and so they function well.Only NEI functions under other state officers- Will Xamujjwal think of this please? All because he is supposed to be the oldest long studied student from GU. ULFA might not imagine for good education to produce brilliants. What was in Assam, all was brutally murdered by India long decades ago.Now we live in ruins.
Will we think and plan to produce our own kharkhowa IAS/IPS/IFS/NDAs please.Blame game dnt help and never help for good thoughts. We are also famous for hitting each other more easily and pulling down.
Even I get lot many unsolicited emails from kharkhowa's who read my mails and get irritated.of course they do read here, but write in my blogs/other pages or email with bogus id..... Let them be happy if they are wost than cowards to burk- Bokar talar pora. The reason for jealousy is unknown.
Like wise think happen in Assamese society and going on for what British had come!! How Maniram hanged,Chandrakanta Sngha lost crown....
But matter is now to produce good axomiya IAS/IPS. Letthe dead sould take rest peacefully. he did his best once, might be due to like this situations one find too diffcult with one man army without base support from own kharkhowa.

While we need to respect the dignity of an expired public servant and
fellow man and fellow kharkhowa, I believe Ranju raised pertinent
questions that those who would rather have him shut up should be able
to explain. But they have not. One might have expected that they ,
those who would have Ranju not ask difficult question ,have enough
humility to acknowledge that don't have any good answer. It is not
as if THEY created the dysfunctional bureaucracy of India. Just that
they have not looked at it critically enough, that's all. But with
their silence and attempts at obfuscation, they merely demeaned
themselves.
Yes, it is time to give it a rest. But Ranju asked pertinent
questions. We should learn to look at these things more critically
than many of our fellow men do.
