I will give one small example from my locality in Assam.The night service buses dnt ply via Baihata chariali-Mangaldai-Tezpur at all.Not today- since long, even when I was a student of class 8th in 1975.Reason- heavy dacoity by the so called local people all the way from Baihata chariali-Dumichowki-Maroi and sipajhar. Again Mangaldai-Bhula-Dalgaon-ROWTA( the worst place now-bodoland zindabad) till Dhekiajuli TE.And all are assamese.....
We few locals only dare to travel.But mostly they prefer night service buses.Thanks that the train line is almost useless from Rangiya till NL.
What to say more now-
If I reach GHY after 6 pm, and prefer to catch a bus,I need to stay back.No change from my childhood memories and present modern issues.
Oil tanker robbery from TSK till Bihar is same.This time explosion had happened in Assam- so the issue is bigger.Assam only have high fuel rise, LGP rise- because we provide to India.Delhi get cheapest in the w0orld as they do control Assam.

A crime is a crime, no matter how big or how small.
Pity the refineries did not make it more convenient for the looters.
If we are getting looted since 1960 and still are, then probably we deserve
it. After all, it only happens in Assam.
