Dear Sir/Madam 


We are elated to inform you that taking a grave concern on the ongoing flood in Assam, the Assamese Students Association Delhi (ASAD) is going to provide medicines and other amenities to the flood victims. The best part is - the members of ASAD have volunteered to travel to the affected places with the resources. Moreover, the association is also holding a fund-raising painting exhibition  on 27th and 28th September at Assam House, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi to aid the victims. 
 
ASAD is also planning  to address the effective mechanism to combat the annual flood, demanding the involvement of the central and state funded research institutes
 
 
A PRESS MEET is called, in this regard, on 27th  September 2008 at 11 am at Assam House, Bordoloi Marg, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi. You are cordially invited to attend the  event.
