[Assam] Aruni Kashyap's debut novel on Secret Killings

Tehelka magazine has carried excerpts from young author/poet Aruni Kashyap's upcoming debut novel "The House With a Thousand Novels", which revolves around the infamous “secret-killings” of Assam. I understand the novel has attracted quite a lot of attention in the publishing world, with several publishers trying to secure its publishing rights.
 
A brief introduction to Aruni: Guwahati-born and a St Stephen’s graduate, he is the Assistant Editor of the Assamese journal of literature and culture, Yaatra. He has authored the forthcoming poetry collection Grandmalullabies and The House With a Thousand Novels, a novel on “secret-killings”.
