Dear

Kishor ( Chakraborty ?) the
article by Dr Kalam sounds really good enough. I do agree that only positive
attitude in our life will solve half of our problems of day to day life.

We had no
great dreams in pre-British India;
we had no negative attitude towards life either. We’re thankful to God whatever
we had. But one thing Britishers made us think forever that we’re not as civilised
as they are.  We fought them and send
them back but not the legacy of   the colonial mind they created for us.

Dr Kalam also is not
exception!!!!!

Yes, my dear
friend you see, his article has a basic contradiction. He asked, “Why are we,
as a nation so obsessed with foreign things? We want foreign T. Vs, we want
foreign shirts. We want foreign technology.” Same Dr Kalam wants India
to be like Amerika & other western countries!!!! 'ASK WHAT WE CAN DO FOR INDIA

AND DO WHAT HAS TO BE DONE TO MAKE INDIA

WHAT AMERICA
AND OTHER WESTERN COUNTRIES ARE TODAY'

Should we, the Indian, be civilised
like American? Do you think they are positive enough? Dr Kalam has chosen his
words to establish his point. But, don’t you think the Americans and westerners
are negative enough about   all most all the developing countries that don’t do any political or
economical business with them?

Please don’t blame me for the negative
comments I’ve made about American model. I think each RABINDRA JAYANTI observer
should read once in his or her life time the article “Savyotar Sonkot’’.

Anyway, being positive in life is a great
rewards in it self for any individuals life. So, hope you will be able to attract
good response for this piece of article.Keep it up with some modification.

Sushanta Kar
