[Assam] About the Name Assam

I remain unconvinced.
In the fitness of thing,the entire matter ought to be left for those,who are
in the business of reading,analyzing and interpreting the nitty-gritty
historical facts and data.
I refuse to accept the interpretation put forward by Saleh/Barua as an
unshakable truth.
As far as I am concerned,their explanation is of no consequence,pending full
verification by the competent ones.
Meanwhile,those self-proclaimed neo-historians should stop the tamasha of
re-writing and re-interpreting facts in regard to Assam's
history,who,perhaps,haven't studied the subject seriously save high-school
history :-)
No further response will be undertaken on this topic from this end.
