And this is not Wahid's concern-.It is our so-called Leaders'.
WE should thank Wahidbhai for discovering pages of written History pointing to the “Distant Unconquered land Assam”. Nobody told us why the Brits called Oxom –ASSAM.
Now we Know .

The Dutch soldier-of-fortune’s Diary Notings were taken by the Brits in Dhaka to call our land THAT .
And the Nawab must have taken the same from similar writings in AKBARNAMA. Or from Dhubrians?
If both tallied – that was that for Brits and the Dhaka Nawabs .

But that was others’ naming our land. Must we accept THAT?
We are Oxomiyas living in Oxom . Take it or leave us Mate!
