Dear Chandan Da,

Thank you very much for participating in discussing our proposals and for
your good wishes. You have rightly said, " Assam has a right to be the
master of its own destiny and not a vassal, subject entity of anybody."
therefore we are advocating for complete regional autonomy.

The influx has become a regular feature, a silent invasion by foreign
nationals from neighbouring countries, particularly Bangladesh is taking
place. The leaders leaving destiny at the mercy of foreign nationals have
neglected the problem. We cannot remain silent when the very existence is
threatened. We are determined to preserve our identity; therefore we are
going to form a common platform encompassing all sections of indigenous and
ethnic society of Assam on the basis of regional federalism by giving equal
dignity, equal right and equal representation. The common platform will deal
with the problems of indigenous and ethnic societies along with the serious
issue of foreign nationals and to find out a honourable and practical
solution so that the desire and the aspirations of the people of Assam are
been fulfilled.

Finally, very humbly we assure you that we will never be playing to those
who opposed us in the past and disrespect the sacrifices made by our
compatriots by giving up their lives for our tomorrow.

We are looking forward for more discussion on these issues in future with
you.

Thanking you,

Regards,

Jiten Dutta
Gen. Secy.
