[Assam] Urging for Aid

Dear Friends'

One Mriganka Hazarika from Jorhat and a student of NITS Mirza is suffering
from multiple Lung Failure and is currently undergoing extensive treatment
at GNRC Hospital,Supermarket,Guwahati.

Mriganka's disease is called *Acute respiratory distress syndrome.For

Treatment Rough expense count:

1.       Ventilation charge: Rs 45,000 per day

2.     Life saving injection for *Acute respiratory distress syndrome
accompanied by paralysis  *: Rs 1,20,000 per day

3.     Medicines and misc expenses: Rs 10,000 per day

4.     He needs at least 5 courses of the life-saving injection which comes
to around Rs 8,50,000(approx)

5.     Total expenses comes to around Rs 10,00,000 which includes Doctors’
Fees, Hospital charges etc


He is being constantly monitored by the doctors’ and has shown signs of
improvement since yesterday. He is on life-saving injection for the last
couple of days and needless to mention one such injection daily cost around
Rs 1 lakh/day. We have come to know from various quarters that Mriganka’s
family is having a tough time meeting the required financial expenses for
that life-saving drug.

We, the students’ of NITS Mirza would like to request/appeal to all  to come
forward and extend their helping hand in all possible within their limits.
Any form of help (cash or kind) would be deeply appreciated.

and support us and the grief family members’ of Mriganka Hazarika.
