Media Workshop on Climate Change in Guwahati 
 
Guwahati: National Union of Journalists Assam chapter in association with Gramya Vikas Mancha has organized a media workshop on climate change and disaster risk reduction on June 6. The workshop will be held at Hotel Brahmaputra Ashok and begin at 10 am.
Dr Arabinda Mishra, director of Earth Science and Climate Change Division, The Energy and Resources Institute & dean of Faculty of Policy & Planning, TERI University will attend the workshop as the main resource person. 
Professor Dulal Goswami will attend the inauguration session as an observer. 
Journalists from Assam and other States of Northeast are participating in the workshop. 
The daylong workshop is also expected to adopt some resolutions highlighting the need  to sensitize and engage the media persons in the issue of climate change and disaster risk reduction.
