Individuals interested to become social franchisee and be part of the Reach

India network



Reach India, (www.reach-india.net) is registered as a Trust in India. Reach

started its operations in Kolkata as an innovative capacity building

institution that strengthens the capacity of Self Help Promoting

Institutions (SHPIs) that form and serve Self Help Groups in east and

northeast India. Reach does this by identifying and promoting dynamic

private enterprise (Social franchisees) to deliver proven services brokered

from an array of global development organizations by training SHPIs, such as

MFIs and local NGOs, to bring knowledge, life skills, and linkages to

massive numbers of poor rural women to build futures of health, hope and

dignity for themselves and their families.



*REQUIRED: Social Franchise* in following places: Nagaland, Assam and

Shillong



The candidate applying to become a Social Franchise Owner must fit all or

most of the following criteria: Be a graduate and have a positive attitude

and an entrepreneurial spirit willing to take risk and open to learning.

They should be fluent in English and the local language. Fluency in Hindi

will be an added advantage. Preference will be given to individuals who have

experience working with self-help groups and NGO’s promoting SHG’s and

experience in marketing/selling would be an added advantage. Women are

encouraged to apply.



Reach India will provide the following benefits to the Social Franchise:

• Training and ongoing technical assistance

• Marketing & Promotional support

• Access to start up financing

• Regular monthly income

• 1 year Franchisee agreement, renewable
