Good morning. Please have a look of the Himalayas in Sagarmatha (Everest)
District. We trekked from Lukla to Pkakding to Namche Bazaar to Tangboche to
Kumjum to Namche to Monjou to Lukla about 80KM (max. height we went was
12700ft) in a ten day trek. Nature was relatively pristine, the only mode of
travel being feet and helicopters( in emergency), and no cars. We had been
lucky to have magnificent views of Mount Everest, Lokche and Lockche Sar,
Nupche, Tao se, Ammadablum, Kusum Kangaru, T. Sherpoo, Kongte etc. for
continuous 4 days. Our Sherpa affirmed that it was even better than
sometimes in October. Pity, we could not be there in March April to have a
look at the continuous patches of rhododendrons (8 colours). Noticed pines
having navy blue cones, may be that is the Blue Pine! ( Spelling in the
name of the peaks may be wrong; I have written as heard )
