[Assam] Back to Popular Topic - Corruption

Dear Dilip da,
I guess, you were referring to the Sentinel's OP-ED written by H N Das (Former
Chief Sec) on "Governance in the 21st Century". Mr. Das has taken this
information from the CM of Tripura Manik Sarker. Das did not mention about any
source of the claim that Tripura has eliminated corruption.
I was commenting on the claim of Tripura (CM) and related that claim to the
claim made by our honorable central minister Kapil Sibal on 2G scandal against
the CAG report.
Regards
Ganesh Bora

Dear Ganesh,
Could you please elaborate some? I couldn't quite connect the contents of your
email to "Tripura has eliminated corruption".
Thanks,
Dilip Deka

I think this is a right claim in light of the claim made by Kapil Sibal that
there was no loss to the state exchequer by 2G scandal. So Tripura learned
quickly from the center.

O' Deka:
Aapuni thikei koise.
It is a little mindless to reduce corruption issues to a series of singular
cause/effect/way to eradicate etc.
It also tells us how the desi media deals with issues, even those as the
pervasiveness of corruption.
>Tripura has eliminated corruption
*** Now that is something to take note of, isn't it? Then again, if one looks at
the source,
one must shake one's head and forget it.
