[Assam] video - Outrage in Assam after mob publicly strips, molests girl in Guwahati city centre

I thought to myself.. Was there any need to post such videos online and
cause more insult to the girl. First the mob abuses her and then the media.
The TV crew continues filming the incident without coming to help, the
attackers continue abusing the girl, disrobing her without people coming to
her assistance.
The title says "Outrage in Assam..". I opened Assam Tribune, Sentinel and
there was hardly a mention of the incident. I did not see any protests by
AASU, KMSS or any civil groups.
If this had happened to a local girl in Shillong, Aizawl, Dimapur .... the
local student units would have beaten the blues out of the criminals.
Shame on Assamese society. Once we used to pride ourself to be better than
the rest of India in how we treat our womenfolk. Not anymore.
