[Air-l] software as text

Hi 
 
I'm Pete Adey a postgrad at University of Wales, Aberystwyth Geography
Department. I'm looking at some modelling software and intend to use my
interaction and use of the software, or my reading of it, as part
of my research methodology. I am relatively new to this subject and was
wondering if much had been published on this sort of
methodology, reading software as text etc, and if anyone could help
by pointing me in the right direction.
