In addition to the resources that Nancy White suggested to Mark
Tempestilli [SMTP:tempesti at usna.edu], I would suggest:

* Practitioners at companycommand.com and platoonleader.org.
Particularly relevant because they're thinking big picture AND just
doing it (if not on a shoe-string then being thoughtful about cost and
scaling issues).

* Come to think of it Nate Allen, from West Point, is representing the
Army guys who are developing those sites on a panel and at other events
that Bronwyn Stuckey and I have organized about Communities of Practice
at http://www.aace.org/conf/elearn/.  Etienne Wenger is giving a keynote
on Friday morning October 18th and we're organizing conversations before
and after that.

Write to me directly if you're going to be at this AACE conference.  In
addition to a SIG / keynote / 2 panel discussions and some technology
demos, we're organizing some social time and extended conversations.
