Hi Denise --
I think you might enjoy Patti Lather's _Getting Smart: feminist research and
pedagogy with/in the postmodern_  and her experimental ethnography
_troubling the Angels_ -- Lather calls the latter book "a combination of
critical ethnography and participatory action research" and she uses
interviews and plays with/questions the ability of the author to write the
'authoritative' account in interesting ways (I think).
