With reference to the peer-to-peer music sharing debate and related
issues, anyone doing research on online music and media would probably
find the pho mailing list interesting: Pho is a fascinating community
comprising over one thousand members from the media industries, law,
government, academia, and the arts, debating issues related to 'the
digital delivery of art'.

From the site:
*Pho is Vietnamese beef noodle soup.*
It is also a *community* that *gathers* over soup *to share ideas* about
"the digital delivery of art" and "the convergence of entertainment and
technology."
Discussions take place at gatherings in Los Angeles, New York,
Minneapolis, Chicago, Washington, D.C., San Francisco, San Jose,
Nashville, Seattle, Portland, London and Moscow and beyond.
Our conversations continue online via The Pho List.
