seminar for reporters, editors, and media development professionals
interested in sharing, developing and honing their skills in this field.
Seminar topics will include risk assessment and security training,
working with elections administrators and state-run media
executives, developing effective training for new reporters, and the
latest tools and resources for working in the field and evaluating
success. Detailed case studies by reporters and trainers working
in the field will offer lessons learned working in conflict-stressed
states like Cambodia, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka, Nepal, and Iraq.
Detailed program and venue and travel information will be made
available early in 2004. Check the media and elections portion of
the website for updated info. http://www.impacs.org
