Denise,
Off the top of my head there is no studies on reconnecting with
friends that I have seen. Great topic though and an untapped area.
You may look for things mentioning classmates.com or sites like that.
Also, you may look at some genealogy sites. I think that facebook is
going to take over this role in the future but it is not there yet.
Please let me know what you find out.
