Hi Mathias,
you might wanna look into T.L. Taylor's "play between worlds" or Mia
Consalvo "Cheating" - both are excellent accounts of how players bend
rules or "work around the system" for in-game or beyond game
purposes. in regards to "bending the game" for achievement beyond
game play see also: Thomas Malaby's games and culture journal article
"parlaying value: capital in and beyond virtual worlds."
