[Air-L] Fwd: mobile apps for universities

I am thinking of the abbreviation to "apps" for applications and then
to the word "apps" appearing in TV adds for the iPhone in Ontario
Canada. I didn't think app stood for Apple.

Being raised mostly on TV in a family where one parent complained
about my TV habits and another watched with me....bla bla. I learned
in early social science studies referencing TV and radio is
problematic. So I just avoid it.
