For anyone interested in the work of Marshall McLuhan, arguably the father
of media studies, I have been maintaining the McLuhan Galaxy blog as a
repository of information about the many conferences dedicated to him in
this centenary year, books, articles, blogs and links. There are something
like 200 conferences, special events, exhibitions, lectures and seminars
devoted to him this year, including a major conference in November hosted by
the iSchool, University of Toronto. See http://tinyurl.com/6ewnow6 . The
McLuhan Galaxy blog is at http://mcluhangalaxy.wordpress.com/ ..........Alex
