Grey Literature and Information Ethics: Key Shared Concerns
The first in this series is a workshop organized by InfoEthics UK in
collaboration with GreyNet International and will be held in Oxford, England
on 6 September 2012.
Grey literature and information ethics are two fundamental aspects of LIS
professional practice in the digital information economy - yet both are
still poorly understood and often marginalized. Ignoring the critical role
of ethical decision-making puts your organization at risk. Key areas of
shared concern include: ● peer review ● digital preservation ● privacy ●
standardization ● validation and ● equitable pricing.
These and other topics will be addressed in a Workshop presented by leading
practitioners in their field on 6 September 2012 at St Hilda’s College,
Oxford
