Beyond traditional survey taking: adapting to a changing world

Statistics Canada's 2014 International Methodology Symposium will take place
at the Palais des congrès de Gatineau (5 minutes from downtown Ottawa), from
October 29 to 31, 2014.

The Symposium will be titled “Beyond traditional survey taking: adapting to
a changing world”. Members of the statistical community, such as those from
private organizations, governments, or universities, are invited to attend,
and particularly those who have an interest in methodological challenges
resulting from the use of non-traditional survey methods.

The Symposium will consist of both plenary and parallel sessions covering a
variety of topics. Additional research and results might be presented via
poster sessions.
