Hi Evelina,
Do check into scholarship on cities too that distinguish it from rural spaces as sites of increased senses and proximity.
Here are three to get you started:
Benjamin, Walter. “Paris: Capital of the Nineteenth Century.” In Metropolis: Center and Symbol of Our Times, edited by Philip Kasinitz, 46-57. New York: New York University Press, 1995.
Walkowitz, Judith. “City of Dreadful Delight: Narratives of Sexual Danger in Late-Victorian
London.” In Bridge & Watson, 410-418. First published in City of Dreadful Delight
(1992).
Williams, Raymond. The Country and the City. New York: Oxford University Press, 1973.

Subject: [Air-L] Casual sex through dating apps an urban phenomena?
Dear all!
I’m looking for research that explores casual sex through dating apps an urban phenomena and/or commitment and marriage as a norm in rural areas.
Thank you in advance for all suggestions!
Best regards,
