[Air-L] Acquiring training on big data research

Hello AoIR,

I’m writing a faculty development leave (aka sabbatical) proposal to acquire training on big data research. Ideally this would include all aspects of big data research, from data acquisition to modes of analysis like social network analysis. In my proposal I’ll have to list specific resources, such as books, tutorials, MOOCs, etc. that I will draw upon to gain this knowledge. Can you recommend some resources I could include in my proposal?
