Hi all,
There is a Senior Lecturer position available at the UTS School of Communication as part of the Digital and Social Media team. For U.S. folk this is equivalent to late-Ass Pro/early post-tenure.
The Digital and Social Media major was established in 2014.It introduces students to key debates around the role of social media in everyday life and focuses on developing innovative and analytical solutions to problems through the use of digital and social media. It also provides students with practical skills in social media management, user experience and user interface design, and digital marketing.
We're particularly interested in hearing from people with an understanding of User Experience and User Interface Design.
In addition to teaching, the appointee will be expected to will provide leadership in research, including research training and supervision.
Applications will close on 4 or 5 October but we're using recruiters so I suspect that you can get an extension on materials as long as you are in conversation with recruiters by that timeframe and have provided a CV.
Feel free to chat to me if you want more information. You can contact recruiters at Odgers Berndtson Executive Search at: UTSDSM at odgersberndtson.com
