Develop your data science skills with The Alan Turing Institute
The Alan Turing Institute<https://www.turing.ac.uk/>, the national institute for data science and artificial intelligence, is seeking applications from early career researchers to take part in its next Data Study Group<https://www.turing.ac.uk/collaborate-turing/data-study-groups> event taking place in September 2021.
Data Study Groups are collaborative hackathons which bring together organisations from industry, government, and the third sector, with multi-disciplinary researchers from academia.
All challenges and data sets are related to health research, in particular Dementia research.
The events provide an unrivalled opportunity for early career researchers to rapidly develop their data science skills using real-world data, to tackle societal challenges. Data Study Groups also offer participants the chance to forge new networks for future research projects and build links within The Alan Turing Institute and industry. We encourage PhDs, postdocs, those with equivalent non-traditional qualifications/experience and other early career researchers to apply.
The Data Study Group event will be held remotely from 6 - 24 September 2021.
The deadline for applications is Wednesday 28th July. 2021.
