We are now less than 60 days away from MAB20! We are currently setting up our online conference venue and we will soon open our registrations. Stay tuned!

In the meantime, sign up for one or more of our instigating workshops and check out below our last calls for participation, Demos & Posters and Late-Breaking Work - deadlines are coming up next week.

Also, we are very glad to announce the nominees and special mentions for the first MAB Student Awards. You can check out the full list of selected projects below. Aside from that, the jury members from the MAB Awards have started their selection process and nominees will be announced on May 10th.

MAB20 - Call for Late-Breaking Works | DEADLINE COMING UP!

MAB20 invites submissions from both researchers and practitioners from a broad range of disciplines covering a spectrum of topics such as prototyping media architecture, early design explorations, human and more-than-human centred media architecture, multi-modal interaction in media architecture, architectural studies, provocative ideas, etc. LBW submissions are shorter than full papers and an ideal venue for emerging ideas that have not yet been fully developed and for contributions that demonstrate practical applications of media architecture. Proceedings will be published in the ACM Digital Library. Don't miss this opportunity!

MAB20 - Call for Demos & Posters | DEADLINE COMING UP!

MAB20 invites architects, urban designers, artists, and other industry practitioners to participate in the call for Demos & Posters and exhibit their work to an international audience, including leading practitioners and researchers in the fields of Media Architecture & Urban Interaction Design. The MAB Demos & Posters online exhibition will take place during the MAB20 (Jun 28 – Jul 2), showcasing early-stage prototypes, more mature work-in-progress or learnings from finished projects.

Demos & Posters will also be documented in the Media Architecture Online archive (https://facebook.us20.list-manage.com/track/click?u=98b784859935f80b0b03b5324&id=ebb9cfc75c&e=e0fc435bb0) – a publicly accessible website. Those who wish to do so, can also submit an official abstract in ACM format to be published in the official conference proceedings.
