Dear all

Through this email, I solicit technical advice on the Cambridge English language certification-CELTA.

Apologies for the inconvenience caused to others.

I live and work in India. I am considering undergoing the CELTA. As I understand it, there are multiple modules and it is possible to obtain certification for any/all/some of the modules. 

I am personally educated in the English medium and have been teaching in the English language. But apparently to be able to take up any freelance/contractual appointment for the teaching of English language in other parts of the worldI need to obtain either a local certification or a more generally accepted certification like the CELTA.

I intend to take up only some of the modules. Whether this is a possibility; what it’s implications/constraints/possibilities are in terms of what I will be able to do/not and more… is what I want to know. I will appreciate a more comprehensive commentary/advice on the subject.
