Summary of Job Duties:The Department of Communication in the Fulbright
College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Arkansas, invites
applications for a tenure-track assistant professor in Communication to
start in August 2022. We seek applicants with a rhetorical and/or cultural
studies research agenda in the area of popular culture. This is a standard
nine-month faculty appointment.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

   -

   Ph.D. in Communication or related field conferred by the start of
   employment
   -

   Evidence of active research program
   -

   Demonstrated competency in the classroom


Preferred Qualifications:

   -

   Rhetorical and/or cultural studies research agenda in the area of
   popular culture
   -

   Research commensurate with institutions holding the highest Carnegie
   classification
   -

   Ability to engage in interdisciplinary research
   -

   Potential for externally funded research
   -

   Demonstrated success in working with diverse populations
