Dear all,

Our faculty at Trier University is inviting applications for a position as Professor for Media Studies and Communication Science (f/m/d) with a focus on Computational Communication Science. This is a tenured appointment. 

“Applicants are expected to have expertise in the modelling and analysis of big data, and automated content analysis in particular (e.g. topic modelling, text mining, visual data mining, natural language processing, computer vision) and/or simulation studies. Expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research in media and communication science, and their combination with respective research methods is expected.” [...]

The faculty expects the ability to conduct classes in both German and English.
