19th International Conference on Information Systems for Crisis Response and Management - The future vision of large-scale CRISIS management in a post COVID world (ISCRAM 2022)

ISCRAM is a forum where researchers and practitioners from all around the world meet every year to share experiences and raise challenges in all the aspects related to the design, development, and use of information systems to improve the management of crisis and disaster situations. The 19th International Conference on Information Systems for Crisis Response and Management is co-organized by the National School of Engineers of Tarbes and ISCRAM Organisation and it will be held in Tarbes, France on 22-25 May, 2022.

The 2022 ISCRAM conference invites three types of paper submissions:

- CoRe - Completed Research (from 4000 to 8000 words).
- WiP - Work In Progress (from 3000 to 6000 words).
- Practitioner (from 500 to 3000 words).

CoRe papers are longer in length and describe completed research studies. WiP papers are shorter and meant to describe smaller, more focused research findings or research that is still in progress. Both of these paper types undergo a rigorous peer-review process and will be archived in the ISCRAM digital library - http://idl.iscram.org/ .



While practitioners are also invited to submit a CoRe or WiP paper, we recognize that an academic review process is often not appropriate for practitioner contributions. These authors may instead submit a 500-3,000 word Practitioner paper. We particularly encourage submissions describing real-world experiences and case studies of interest to the ISCRAM conference. Practitioner submissions will be reviewed according to relevance and ability to contribute to discussions rather than by standard academic criteria. Accepted Practitioner submissions will also be included as extended abstracts in the conference proceedings.

All articles will be evaluated according to the following process: once submitted to a specific track, articles will be distributed among the pool of reviewers according to their domain of expertise and the topics addressed by the article according to the ISCRAM submission framework. The selected papers will be organized in sessions, distributed among the following tracks:

Track 2:  Analytical Modeling and Simulation
Track 3:  Usability and Universal Design of ICT for Emergency Management
Track 4:  Visions for Future Crisis Management
Track 5:  Enhancing‌ ‌Protection‌ ‌of‌ ‌Critical‌ ‌Infrastructures‌
Track 6:  Technologies for First Responders
Track 7:  Disaster Public Health and Healthcare Informatics
Track 8:  Command and Control Studies
Track 9:  Social Media for Crisis Management
Track 10: Geospatial Technologies and Geographic Information Science for Crisis Management (GIS)
Track 11: Reimagining ethical, legal, and social issues in a COVID era
Track 12: AI and Intelligent Systems for Crises and Risks
Track 13: Data and resilience: opportunities and challenges
Track 14: Open Track

Best Papers will be selected to be published in a special issue of the Journal Contingencies and Crisis Management (https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/journal/14685973), Impact Factor 4.391
