Hi all,
We are seeking a Research Associate to perform directed qualitative
research and analysis in accordance with the objectives of a collaborative
research project - “Creator Labour: Screen Production Cultures and
Transmedia Intersectionality in Yorkshire” - funded by the Screen
Industries Growth Network (SIGN).
This project is a collaborative effort between the Universities of
Huddersfield and Sheffield, and its overall aim is to develop strategies
and facilitate initiatives to support diversity and inclusivity in
Yorkshire-based screen media that move beyond current failures of inclusion
schemes by studying intersectional ‘content creators’ who use digital
platforms for content generation and distribution outside legacy screen
industries (such as vloggers, Youtubers, influencers, micro-celebrities,
Grammers, etc.).
The post is Fixed Term starting 1/5/22 with an end date of 14/11/22. it
is £33,309 (Grade 7) pro-rata. You will be co-managed by Dr Sophie Bishop
