Please find below details of a job opening for a Senior Research Associate to help lead a 2-year funded research project exploring early years digital literacies in the landscape of YouTube Kids. The project is titled TYKES - Towards developing understandings of Young Kid's digital literacies in Early years foundation Stage. It's an ambitious multi-stage project aimed at exploring the ways young children are engaging with YouTube Kids; the content they're watching and being recommended; the practices, hopes, and concerns of various stakeholders; and the ways in which we can help develop critical digital literacies in 0-5 year olds. The project is housed at the University of East Anglia in Norwich (UK), and aims to produce a variety of publications, public facing user-guides, policy papers, and adult learning courses.
