[Air-L] examples of qualitative/ethnographic research on NFTs and/or online communities build around blockchain technology

Dear colleagues,

I'm writing on behalf of a student of mine, who's working on a digital
ethnography project mapping the buying of deeds in the Otherside metaverse.
He's interested in the construction of value around NFTs.
We have struggled to find interesting theoretical approaches or qualitative
studies/examples of qualitative (ideally ethnographic) research in this
area.
It's not exactly my area of expertise (so I hope I'm explaining the topic
correctly), but I'm sure there are people on this list who know more  - if
you could point me to articles or books that you think are relevant and
worth reading and could be an inspiration for the student, I would be very
grateful!
