[Air-L] Disinformation and Media Trust in Eastern Europe and the Baltic Sea Region

I would like to organise a panel titled *“Disinformation and Media Trust in
Eastern Europe and the Baltic Sea Region after the Start of the Full-Scale
War in Ukraine”* at the 11th Annual Conference *Knowing Eastern Europe and
the Baltics*, which will be held at the Centre for East European and Baltic
Studies, Södertörn University (Stockholm, Sweden).

The panel intends to discuss the specificity of the Kremlin’s
misinformation campaigns related to the war in Ukraine and their impact on
media trust in the region. Topics for discussion may include, though are
not limited to:

·       Goals, narratives, and rhetoric of Kremlin disinformation campaigns
launched since the start of the war;

·       Localisation strategies: how disinformation is tailored to specific
linguistic, cultural, and political contexts;

·       Impact of the war on public trust in national and international
media across Eastern Europe and the Baltic region.

For the accepted presenters, free accommodation for two nights can be
arranged by the conference organiser.
