“Platformed! How streaming, algorithms and artificial intelligence are
shaping music cultures” webinar - *March 19*, 2025, 4.30-6.00 pm (CET)

We are pleased to invite anyone interested in music studies and digital
platforms to this webinar series organized by the Pastis research unit of
the University of Padova and the MA course of media studies at the
University of Siena.

The webinar will be introduced by Tiziano Bonini (University of Siena) and
Paolo Magaudda (University of Padova), authors of “Platformed! How
streaming, algorithms and artificial intelligence are shaping music
cultures” (Springer 2024)

They will talk about music, digital platforms and artificial intelligence
in conversation with *Emília Barna *(Budapest University of Technology and
Economics) and *Robert Prey* (University of Oxford/ University of
Groningen), who will also present their latest research on streaming music
platforms.
