My name is Emerson Johnston. I’m a master's student at Stanford University, and I lead a graduate student group focused on internet studies. Many of our members are actively seeking predoctoral opportunities in digital sociology, internet studies, and sociotechnical systems for the upcoming academic year, but have had difficulty identifying relevant positions through traditional channels like predoc.org and just searching online. If you know of any predoctoral fellowships or research assistantships in these fields that would provide valuable experience before PhD applications, I'd greatly appreciate your leads.
