About the Workshop
EWAF aims to foster dialogue between researchers working on algorithmic fairness in the context of Europe’s legal and societal framework, especially in light of the European Union’s attempts to promote ethical AI and the turn to AI for the common good.
In addition to four exciting keynotes (by Julia Stoyanovich, Raphaële Xenidis, Juliane Jarke, and Johannes Himmelreich) and several inspiring interactive sessions, this year’s scientific program features 69 accepted papers in multiple disciplines, including computer science, law, philosophy, and social science, as well as interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary work.
Poster submission
One of the primary goals of EWAF is to build a community and we encourage all participants to actively partake. If you plan to join us in Eindhoven, we encourage you to submit a poster! While these posters are not part of the official proceedings, they provide an excellent opportunity to present ongoing work. More information can be found here: https://2025.ewaf.org/submitting/call-for-posters
Travel support
We aim to provide travel support for those who lack the means to pay for registration. You can find the application form here: https://2025.ewaf.org/attending/registration
