providing for her London trip. It is amazing that the GOA will not only fund
the trip, but will also pay for her studies and give her a job.

*Govt to bear cost of Anandita's London trip
*By A Staff Reporter
 GUWAHATI, Aug 3 – Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi today announced that the State
Government would bear the expenditure for Anandita Dutta Tamuly of Titabor,
who has been invited by the Guinness Book of World Records authorities to
demonstrate her unique ability to eat red-hot chillis, up to 40 in just two
minutes. Anandita, who performed in the city yesterday following her
record-breaking feat in Zee TV's Shabash India, had cast doubts on her
proposed London trip due to financial constraints. *The Assam Tribune* had
also carried an elaborate report on Anandita and her remarkable exploits.

In a message today, the Chief Minister conveyed his best wishes to Anandita
so that she could bring more laurels to the State by establishing a Guinness
world record in chilli eating. The message also said that the State
Government would bear the air fair to and from London for Anandita.

The Chief Minister further announced that the State Government would bear
all the expenses associated with Julie's future studies and would also
provide her with a job after she completed her studies, official sources
said. The Assam Tribune had earlier provided an extensive coverage of Juli's
plight, who lost both her arms in a road mishap.
