I saw this incredible exhibition after coming out of the Canadian embassy on Aug 23, 2006 (my brother's B'day). Amazing painting of tigers in tropical jungles, gorillas fighting Red Indians and so on. All from the imagination of the painter -who never left his country -France - but painted scenes from around the world. He never studied art at college -and was from a provincial (rural) town. 

Can we learn from him?
