[Assam] December 15 Resolution of the State Legislature

A very good idea, Shantikam ! Let us all try that.

Please also find out how one can file a law-suit against the State Legislature at the Supreme Court of India. Rajen Barua has very aptly pointed out that the infamous December 15 Resolution was outside the mandate of the State Legislature. That calls for an action by the Supreme Court of India. Correct me if I am wrong.

  I had written earlier I would like to reiterate. While we should petition in groups, I would also request every one to also take up individually with every one who they know and who may matter.

  The problem has been that most people who matter have not been vocal on this matter which means either the proposal is acceptable to most of them or they do not care.

  What I feel is that those of you who know some of the opinion leadesr, please bombard them in your individual capacity too, using your own language and giving your individual views. It may have some affect.
