Hi C'da,

My assumptions, if any, are based on various newspaper reports )BBC, AP,
Sentinel etc).

It is entirely possible this blast could well have been someone who wants to
blame the ULFA and stall the peace process, it is also quite possible that
it could have been the ULFA (or some within it)
who could have done this and blame someone else. Its not as if the ULFA have
never killed people before.

>ordinary reasoning would tell us that they are STUPID, right?

On the surface, yes. But as we had discussed sometime earlier, there are a
few who actually benefit from an ongoing insurgency situation. To keep it a
burning issue, means power, money etc for these people.

 >Or that it is a nice way to perpetuate PCG beating up on those >poor
innocents at Dilli, like you implied.

That the PCG underplays ULFA's actions while overplaying those of the
GOI/GOA is well-known.

C'da, sadly, this whole thing has become like a puppet show, and the strings
ain't being pulled by the common person in Assam.
