Dear Ramda
This has been a project of our asscoiation spanning over two decades.
We got the land in 1998, prafulla Mahanta gave 7 lakhs for buying the
plot (835 sqmtr). teh construction was started in 2001. We raised all
the money from govt. schemes, charity, events, donations, etc. All of
it is the profile I am attaching again.
Ours is a huge bulding of 10000 sft. Only Bengal, Karnataka. Andhra,
tamil, Bihar Associations have such building in delhi. It was made
entirely out of voluntary service. It will eb the hub of all
activities like sattriya, filk dance, assamese short term course, art
gallery, seminar, symposia, 'jolshas' etc. we also have 14 room guest
accomodation.
Thanks n regards
Manoj
