Intelligent leadership overseeing jobgetting in Central Govt type sector should estimate the :
jobs likely to be had in Assam== N.--in say 2010
Intelligently-- the leadersip should have put Task forces to pass out 3N (300% N)right Diplomas in 2010.
Intelligently-- these 3N Diploma winners( each with 1 real foreign language skill+ 2 lines of machine/engineering /paramedic hands-on skills) would have been told why they were trained with public money--
to grab -all rail/army/crp/army/BsF jobs-- armed Diplomas("But do not blame Govt if you hate these jobs")
to be exported(For 2>5 years) as skilled workers needed by 50+ countries in 2008
to be flexibly re-trainable in 3>4 weeks in other skills demanded by importers.
To be in the job-market .Or ready to venture into uncharted new job territory.
But did we have Intelligent Leadership and babudom YET?

To that end, diplomas in areas like rail transport and management are highly sought-after qualifications. > There is an abundance of institutes in different parts of the country which are engaged in providing such courses. But such training institutes are conspicuous by their absence in the Northeast. > It is clear that this has made it difficult for the youth of the region to get benefits of such training. In fact, for many of them it is an impossibility to venture out of their small villages and towns in search of jobs. > Besides, the distance also creates a communication gap, and most of the youth remain unaware of the technical courses that seem to be a must for securing jobs. All of this adversely affects the chances of the youth to secure good remunerative jobs in the Railways.> Introduction of such courses in the academic discipline of the region is the need of the hour if the youth are to be provided gainful employment. > The authorities of the North East Frontier Railway in particular should take up the initiative in view of the mandatory requirement of such qualifications in recruiting their personnel.> > Rajiv Konwar,> Rupnagar, Guwahati-16.> > (THE SENTINEL,WEDNESDAY 2 APRIL 2008 )> > > > > ---------------------------------> Bring your gang together - do your thing.
